I showed this video to my students today. We have a mobile computer lab at our school, which is usually used by the 7th and 8th graders. However, I was given permission to let my 5th graders use them for our Space Unit in science!
My plan is to use them next week to look at Google Sky, a relatively new feature on Google Earth. The students were very excited to hear that they will each have their own laptop to view the night sky. We hope to see planets, stars, constellations, Hubble Space Telescope images, and lots more!
