The Silver Chair, by C.S. Lewis, is the sixth book in the reading order of the Chronicles of Narnia series. This one includes fresh new main characters, except for one that we read about in
the previous book, Eustace. The other two, Jill, a girl that Eustace knows from school in England, and Puddleglum, a Marsh-wiggle from Narnia, travel on a journey into the wild lands of the north. Aslan calls them to venture into the land of the giants in order to rescue Prince Rilian, the heir to the throne of the old King Caspian. Will they follow Aslan's signs to the end?
It was refreshing to read about a new region of the lands surrounding Narnia, and especially with amusing new characters. Puddleglum is especially hilarious, with his entertaining perspective on life. There are many adventures in this book, and it is entirely suspenseful.
