The Last Battle, by C.S. Lewis, is the seventh book in the Chronicles of Narnia series. The exciting Narnia saga comes to an end in this final book. As it comes full circle, we meet Eustace and Jill again as they come to help King Tirian as there is deception at work in Narnia. Someone is attempting to impersonate Aslan and speak for him, proposing a wicked movement among the people. Will Eustace and Jill be able to make sure the last battle in Narnia ends in their favor?!
I could not have imagined a better end to the Narnia series. The surprise at the end seems very fitting and I just love it! The entire world that C.S. Lewis has created is absolutely beautiful and touching. The characters, adventures, and conflicts have all been superbly woven throughout a majestic journey. I hope to share it with all of my students.
