Wow, only ten weeks left in the school year! Hard to believe we are nearing the end. Sorry for this late newsletter... I was at home sick today. I hope everyone had a great Spring Break!

Donate Old Smartphone?

I have been hearing how many students are getting the latest and greatest gadgets, which has got me thinking about where all those older gadgets have been going. If they are just collecting dust in a drawer, please consider donating it to the classroom. Later on in the month, our class will be in need of video cameras (smartphones are perfect for this) to use for a class video we will be creating for chapel on May 1st. It would be great to put old smartphones to use for education! Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions about our upcoming video project.

Report Cards

The second trimester report cards will be sent out this Friday, April 5th. As far as I know, Jen will not be having another baby this week, so I will definitely have time to write report card comments for each student this time. :-)

New Trimester

The third trimester begins today! Several assignments and tests from the week before Spring Break will be counted toward grades for the new trimester. This will give students a chance to do test corrections, fix mistakes, and turn in any work if they were absent.
