Plant for the tank to remember him

January 27 - 31, 2014

   Sadly, our class pet, Senor Pez, died over the weekend. This should not come as a shock to anyone, since we were watching him behave strangely over the past several days. He was a good fish, and he will be missed. The mini plant in the photo to the right is something I purchased for our classroom tank to remember him. I would like to dedicate this newsletter to him. Make it a great week, everyone!

Changes to Riedlteach.com

Some of you may have noticed a strange email yesterday from Riedlteach.com with only six images and no text. That post was put on the front page of my website as a new design for my welcome page. [Hopefully] you will find it easier to navigate the content on my website not only on a computer, but also via mobile. I go to my website on my smartphone often and was getting tired of the difficulties navigating the pages on my own. It is not yet completed, since several pages are still under construction, but I would love any initial feedback before it is complete. Let me know what you think!

Crusader Chorale

If you are in Crusader Chorale, don't forget there is an after school rehearsal this Tuesday, January 28th, from 3:10-4:10pm! Feel free to direct any questions to Mrs. Brumley.

Take Action Inc. Food Drive!

From now until February 14th, our entire school will be working together to support Take Action Inc. and their mission to help children who often go without food for entire weekends when they are not in school to eat. Please look for "The List" in the student mailboxes to know what to bring it to donate!
