Learning about Cinco de Mayo in Spanish class |
The Book Fair is this week! Read details below if you haven't talked about it yet. We're still plugging along in the weeks we have left, doing the best we can! Make it a great week, everyone!
Person of the Week
Cole Badie!Topics to Talk About at Home
Please talk to each other about the Book Fair! What books look interesting? Unfortunately, only some of the students received Book Fair pamphlets last week. We'll make sure anyone who didn't receive one will get one on Monday. Our class will have an opportunity to look at the Book Fair during Library class on Monday. If they are unable to purchase books at that time, they will be able to write down books they like to possibly purchase on another date. For more information about the Book Fair, please click this link to view Mrs. deBra's Library website: https://sites.google.com/a/whcs.org/library/book-fairUpcoming Events

Measuring Academic Progress (MAP)
Spring MAP begins in a few weeks. Just a reminder, MAP is the standardized testing used at West Hills to track student growth as they continually learn more. To ensure results that accurately reflect student knowledge, it is important that each student has plenty of rest, has a good breakfast and lunch, and does not have interruptions (i.e. doctor appointment) during the time of their tests. Let me know if you have any questions about the following schedule for our class:- Monday, May 15th, 2:00-3:00pm
- Tuesday, May 16th, 2:10-3:00pm
- Wednesday, May 17th, 2:00-3:00pm
- Thursday, May 18th, 2:10-3:00pm
Other School-wide Events
Be sure to read the WHCS Weekly News to learn more about other school-wide events at West Hills Christian School. It is emailed to the entire school regularly on Friday afternoons. Thanks so much!Teacher Contact
