At our school, the fifth graders are the first ones to get their own lockers. We have combination locks built in, and the students will receive their combination when they arrive at school with their supplies. They will be given time to practice, however, it would be best if the students find a way to practice beforehand to ensure that they know how it works. If you have a spare combination lock at home, please try to practice on that one before the first day of school. I created the image below as a step-by-step guide (with pictures!) to help:
